Corey is sitting in Leavenworth Prison after being charged with death of detainees taken during Operation Iron Triangle. It would be interesting to create a poll with these two photos and have people guess what’s happening. Most would never assume anything close to the real story. It appears to be a joyous homecoming, a reuniting of mother and son. The truth is not so heart warming.

The lady in the picture is the mother of an American that was ambushed in Fallujah , Iraq . Her son was murdered. His body was dragged around in the streets of the city, then burned and hung from the upper trusses of a bridge. The murderers gathered to celebrate and have their photos taken with the trophy.

The young sailor in the picture is one of the Navy SEALs that later captured the leader of the band of terrorist butchers and brought him to justice.

Although this is ‘old news’ to the media, this is still very current to our military and their families. Don’t let people forget that these injustices are happening on a daily basis.

For those of you that have asked for some Updates:

Chris Drotleff – he went for his bond hearing yesterday and they have decided to NO longer seeking the death penalty, but will be pursuing all charges.

Evan Vela – had a surprise clemency scheduled for April 8th. His clemency was postponed due to his area of Leavenworth being on lockdown and has not been rescheduled to our knowledge. Evan’s parole hearing is set to be heard sometime in the Fall 2010.

Corey Claggett – clemency is scheduled for June 3rd with some very hopeful leads coming to fruition

Frank Wuterich – went to pre-trial late March and was denied the motion to dismiss his charges, they did reduced the charges from murder charges to nine counts of voluntary manslaughter. The government is proceeding with his courts martial scheduled for September 13, 2010.
