• President & Founder : Herbert W. "Bill" Donahue Jr., Major USMC (Ret)

Bill Donahue is a 29 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Enlisting on his 17th birthday, he graduated as his Platoon’s Honorman from Marine Boot camp at Parris island. Bill served his first fifteen years in the enlisted ranks, serving multiple tours in Vietnam, rising to the rank of Master Sergeant before receiving a direct commission as a second lieutenant. He was medically retired after serving 29 years and 1 month as a result of the accumulated effects of service connected wounds and a massive injury to his left leg requiring two surgical reconstructions. His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Bronze Star (with combat "V"), two Purple Hearts, two Navy-Marine Corps Commendation Medals (both with combat "V"), two Navy Achievement Medals (one with combat "V"), three Air Medals and numerous other awards. Bill was the Marine Corps’ Aviation Ground Officer of the year for 1977. He holds an under graduate degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (
magna cum laude) and a post graduate degree from USC (D.A.N.T.E.S.) in Systems Management and Analysis.

Bill is a Life Member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH), the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the American Legion , the Marine Corps League (MCL), the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). He is a past Commander (twice) of the VFW, Senior District Vice Commander and is active in all of these organizations.
