By failing to teach accurate accounts of American History, we hinder educating Americans about their responsibilities as citizens of this great Nation and are unable to promote a strong spirit of Patriotism. Our youth, will be our political leaders of tomorrow. They must be prepared for the future challenges of the 21st and 22nd centuries.
Our very best, those who wear our nation’s military uniforms, are sent into battles where the Rules of Engagement (ROE) continuously change. When our soldiers are in a Life-or-Death confrontation, a moment’s hesitation could cost them their life or the lives of soldiers around them. They should be able to act decisively as they were trained. Instead, we send them to be Courts-Martialed. Causing families to be destroyed financially (due to legal defense bills), ostracized by the very military service their loved one served in, and left with no place to turn.
Freedom of Religion is one of our fundamental Constitutional Rights. Yet, we are witnessing an ever increasing movement to remove God from almost every aspect of our lives- from our schools and our public parks and as far reaching as our cemeteries. We are witness to a very dangerous political skewing of freedom of religion- based on the values that our forefathers founded our great Nation.
