The charges stemmed from accusations levied by a man named Col. Ibrahim Hamid Jaza, and a few of Hamid’s fellow former Iraqi police who were detainees in prison.

So who’s going to the rallies this weekend??

Can’t wait to see those big foreign flags flying above the American flag and hear the cheers of “viva Mexico.” If it doesn’t piss you off maybe you should head on south and check out that third world country! Oh they need help alright, so does Somalia and many other crap nations. You know what though, that’s not our fault! That is their own leaders fault or lack there of.

Have you taken a look lately at the benefits afforded to illegal’s? We wonder why California is in such trouble financially, take a look at all the social programs. So goes California, so goes the Nation ring a bell? Wake up! You want to come to America, Do it LEGALLY and bring something to the table. Speak English, not Russian, not French, not Spanish! Love our Country and support our laws as a Nation!

The argument that American’s are racist if you support Federal and State laws that are in place already against illegal immigration is absurd! Really?? We are a nation of laws! That’s why we are who we are as a Nation. Otherwise we would not even have a border and it would still be the wild west.

WASHINGTON — The American-led effort to gain control of southern Afghanistan is off to a slow start and the political clock is ticking as U.S. troops head into what could be the bloodiest fight yet in the eight-year war.

The U.S. and its NATO allies last week set a goal of starting to transfer control of Afghanistan to the central government by the end of the year, and President Obama has said U.S. troops must start leaving in 2011.

But the slow pace of progress makes it less likely Obama can meet these tight deadlines, and it’s not clear if he can buy more time: He has struggled to persuade Congress to commit troops based on the current schedule.

The expanded U.S. campaign began in late winter in the small farming hamlets of Marjah, in Helmand Province, and has advanced more slowly than expected, officials said.

Now U.S. and NATO troops face a much more formidable task: securing Kandahar, the birthplace of the Taliban and the area from which al-Qaida planned the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The video below is going “viral” in the US and raises some very important issues.

A lot of libertarians believe that one’s private life is one’s own business.

I agree, but add a rider.

If you hold public office at any level, your constituents have a right to know anything about you, private or public that in any way might affect your political decision making.

South Carolina Republican Lindsay Graham, is a champion of both anti “climate change” legislation and amnesty for illegal immigrants. This puts him at odds with most of his party and much of the Tea Party movement.

Why is Graham doing this? Does he believe in these causes, or is it possible he is being pressured?
