Now that I’ve begun to research the Southern Poverty Law Center, a so-called civil rights organization in Alabama with a multi-million treasure chest (endowment), I am being labeled as a promoter of hate and a bigot.

My stance to make English the official language of our country will not be shifted or diminished!

My stance against illegal immigration and the adverse affects of such an illegal activity against our country and the American people will not be diminished!

I can take the ridicule, the attacks and the pressure and will defend myself in English!

If my fellow American brothers and sisters are dodging bullets, IEDs and other life-threatening things defending and standing up for my country across the globe, I can do my part back home to honor their sacrifices!!

This is amazing.

A dear friend from college days works on a new TV show, Breakthrough with Tony Robbins.

The show shares the plight of hundreds of “what” I believe are Americans who are homeless. Without going into the details why these people are homeless, I have to consider that these hundreds of people are sleeping on mats and in the outdoors at the Los Angeles facility Midnight Mission under a flowing flag of the United States of America while millions of illegal immigrants continue to pilfer, to deplete and to rape our country’s resources.

It is unacceptable and absurd that our very own government fights for, defends, provides for and placates millions of illegal immigrants while it turns its eye, face and body to hundreds of Americans who are hurting because their companies closed, their companies let them go or God only knows the reason.

I am not on Earth to judge the “whys” but feel that as an American I am on God’s Earth and blessed and humbled to be an American citizen to protect and defend my country. Although I speak two other languages, I must do what I do in English for the good of the majority and for our country.

A decent article and finally a fair and ethical journalist.

Discussing one of my points noted in the article with a friend, I must elaborate a little. English “only” laws have become of importance because of several reasons. The expense, the chances of miscommunication when parties are translating, the message sent that “only” a few other languages are worth offering and finally the reality that non-English speakers coming to the U.S. present a challenge.

Immigration, whether legal or illegal presents a dire challenge and danger to the future of the United States because we cannot have a long enough buffet table of languages to serve the purpose of government. That purpose is to serve the WHOLE of the people for the best interest of the people of this country and the country as a WHOLE.

By offering language (X) or language (Y) in addition to English, we stand a chance of corruption and a diluting of American values and American progress.

In the name of God and by ALL that He touches, I will NOT tolerate, allow or condone someone to question my heritage or ethnicity because of my love for the United States of America!!!

Because I stand up and say PROUDLY and LOUDLY that all people seeking refuge, prosperity and freedom in the United States of America should make every personal effort, despite pains, struggles or tears to learn English does not erase my identity.

I will always defend this country for she gave my parents and I new hope.

There is so much to say about this.

On the one hand, immigrants who risk their lives and go to extremes to come to a country where freedom is guaranteed.

However, as an immigrant myself, whose parents arrived, by legal means, to the USA, it is absurd to accept illegal immigrants who take illegal routes, illegal means and illegal and immoral methods to penetrate our country.

Sneaking into the USA in the back of a boxed van, through a narrow underground tunnel, in a container on the back of a truck or on a ship is illegal and yet sad.

My parents left their country of birth and sought refuge in the USA with a three year old. I am not perfect and I am not saying that we deserved to be accepted by the American people or the USA. However, what I DO SAY and SAY PROUDLY is that we knew (1) work was a necessity and requirement, (2) learning English as soon as possible regardless of the pains, the struggles, and the tears, it was absolutely something that had to happen, (3) we needed to be humble and be ready and willing to give back for the generosity received.
