To whom it may concern: (USATODAY)
I’d like to submit this for publication as an Opinion letter similar to the one I read today from attorney Reyes.
Illegal immigration has become a hotter issue than the scorching weather ravaging throughout our great country.
It is impossible to maintain the core subject at merely illegal immigration. There are other facets that have a direct and indirect effect from those illegal immigrants seeking a better life but who seek it via illegal means. And those facets have a dire and adverse effect on the United States of America and we, the American people, struggling to take care of our own families and our own people.
Illegal immigrants fully know that entering the United States of America without permission is illegal and hence a crime. That is why they sneak in through underground tunnels, in trunks or hidden compartments of cars or simply by jumping the fence. Entering illegally is a crime. Pleading that one is hungry or destitute when caught robbing a bank is not a defense. There shall be no defense to entering a country illegally.
